Reviews on the Nikon D7000?
I'm thinking of getting this camera, I hear the HD video auto focus is not too good but everything else is an A+, any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you need this camera 4 jst home n family function tht's better camera but you will still not record best quality as you want
D7000 is one of the best DSLRs out now for the price.
You heard that were? All DSLRs today have horrible auto focus in video, while D7000 and D5100 have it faster. But AF in video is still not something you should use for professional videos.
Everything else indeed is A+, 39 AF points, 6fps, great body, top LCD screen, great high ISO performance.

I think the world really can get brain washed that there are no other camera brands other than canon and nikon. If that were true then this is THE csamera to get.
The Pentax K-5 is far better than the d7000. Has better image quality (esp. In high iso), faster fps (6.0 vs 7.0), slower autofocus. And Way BETTER ERGONOMICS HANDS DOWN… That is the most important thing you can get in a camera tied other than image quality (which the k-5 is better in). Plus it has the best build quality of any slr on the market (other than olympus e-5) while being incredibly small. Especially recently the price has gone way down and is now cheaper at $1000.

Notice in the dpreview they clasify the k-5 as a semipro camera while they classfied the d7000 as a mid range and the k05 still got a better rating
