Review for Nikon D3100. What are the pros and cons?
Hi, I'm looking to get my first DSLR camera and I was looking into the Nikon D3100. Can anybody tell me, FROM EXPERIENCE, if this camera is any good.

The 3100 is an excellent camera. It was replaced by a newer model (called the 3200) called the 3200).
If you expect a nice camera to magically take nice pictures, you're mistaken.
Go to a local camera shop and try our the 3100, 3200 and Rebel T3. See which one is more comfortable to hold
I shoot Canon but I have friends who use this and other Nikon dslr cameras. The only real drawback will be your inexperience with a fully controllable camera - that is until you learn how to properly operate a dslr.
