Returning a camera to Walmart?
I got a nikon p500 for Christmas as a present for my mom this year. I played around with it for a day and decided it's not the kind I wanted and I plan on getting the Canon eos rebel t3 if they take my camera back. We have the receipt and box and everything it came with, but I'm worried they won't take it back because I used it to test it. Do yall think they will take it back?
Personally, I think they will. BUT I have no experience and I have never returned anything like an electronic.
I once purchased a camera at WalMart--useing the WalMart.Credit Card.
I got a replacement--no questions asked.
Stores very often do exchange goods without asking questions (goodwill, rather than being forced to by law), but if it was ME, my conscience would scream at me way too loud and too long.
I'm all for returning something that is defective, but I could NOT do that simply because I changed my mind, didn't research properly or didn't like a gift.
Returning stuff means costs, and NO store will simply absorb those costs.
So every person who simply returns stuff because they CAN, raise the prices for all of us - for the honest folk as well as the system-abusers.
