Photo shoot at a Pumpkin Patch?

So me and my two best friends are going to a pumpkin patch next weekend and we want to do a photoshoot there. Does anyone have any tips or anything for us to make this great? I have a nikon d3100 so i don't know what mode to use or anything like that so that would be great! Also what should we wear! And any ideas for poses or anything?

There's lots of resources on line to learn what to do. However you're the only one who can improve your skills with this camera.

This is an excellent camera and if you haven't learned to operate it properly then you've done yourself, and your camera, a dis-service.

Your best bet would be a short course in dslr photography.
