How to shoot one photo a minute for an hour on a Nikon D90?
My camera is on a tripod, I need to do a time lapse sort of thing, and take one photo a minute for an hour, maybe even two hours. The owners manual has been lost for some time, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'll dig out my d90 manual later and let you know if I find anything
The D90 does not have an internal time lapse function. But there are several aftermarket intervalometers that will work.
I bought one similar to this one and used it with great success (although mine was not wireless):

It worked well enough, but it did not have all of the features I wanted. So, being a retired engineer, I decided to build my own out of an Arduino microcontroller and a fistfull of electronic parts.
However, you don't need to go that route. You can just buy one of the many aftermarket units available. You just need ot make sure it has the proper cable for your camera.
One example on youtube.
Nikon's Camera Control software will allow you to do this. It is really expensive for what it does. There are other programs out there which will allow you to do time lapse for much less money or free. Do a search.
Perhaps this will work:

You can download your manual from Nikon's web site. Highly recommended.
