Nikon D3200 not detecting cord?
I received a nikon D3200 last christmas, about 5 months ago, and recently i have been trying to upload the pictures to my laptop. The camera does not detect the cord when i insert it into the slot on the side.
what do i do? Is it the cord that is having the problems or my camera?

I'm new to photography and am unhappy with the quality of my photos when they are printed out. I'm not sure how to improve the quality once they are ready to print. They look awesome when they are on my iPad or on my computer, but once they are printed out they are kind of grainy and the edges of things like clothing is not crisp like it is before printing. I would like to be able to print nice quality pictures! I have a Nikon D5000 if that helps.

Photography help! REVIEW my photos please?
I purchased a Nikon D3200 DSLR *(18-55 VR Lens) the other day. Pleased with the camera. My First DSLR. I started shooting manual and am learning fast… Tonight I shot some photos and was wondering if anyone could help me. I used a tripod in a few shots. I payed close attention to the meter and set my ISO, Fstop, SS accordingly.
Here is my FLICKR Account:
The last 3 photos I uploaded seem under exposed. I shoot in RAW (these are JPG versions)
This could be due to maybe not holding camera still?
So my question is, are these shots underexposed. And what would YOU have done differently if you were shooting with my lense. My settings are included in description. It is the most recent 3 uploaded.

Photography Tips! Car photography
Amateur photographer here. Just picked up my first DSLR yesterday. A Nikon D3200. Love the camera. Will fit my needs for a few years i believe. It came with the 18-55mm VR Lense…
I have a question. I'm starting to shoot in manual mode and getting fairly good at still motion photography. I plan to buy a new lense but specifically for car photography. I love shooting cars especially my own.
However, I'm confused to why I can't get a very soft background (like a portrait almost). Nothing too wild… But here is a PERFECT example:
I know that I have an entry level camera, and need some lenses to create this shot. But what is the best lense/technique/advice to get to make a car in focus sharply with a blurred background?
I understand how aperature works… Kinda.

I'm a amateur photographer and I want to buy a camera so I can take photos of local scenery, holidays, days out and things like that. I want to spend anywhere between £200 - £400. I went into a local camera shop and they recommended 3 different types of cameras, they said I should get ether a Nikon D3200 or a Nikon D3100 or a Canon 1100. What camera do you think I should buy? Is there any problems with any of these cameras? Is there any benefits with any of these cameras? Do you recommend any of these cameras? Or do you recommend a totally different camera? All answers will be helpful.

Nikon concert photography camera - how many megapixels do I need?
For my son's birthday, I'm getting my son a new Nikon camera. He currently has the Nikon D5200. I found a good deal on the Nikon D7000. Would this be a good upgrade camera for the concert photography that he does? His D5200 captures approx 24 megapixels, and the D7000 captures approx 24 megapixels. Will this megapixel difference take away from the quality of his photos? Not sure how important that particular feature is. Any help is appreciated!

Is a nikkor 18-55mm lens considered a wide angle lens?
I have a nikon d3100 with the 18-55mm lens is this considered to be a wide angle lens. Looking to do some real estate photography. If not what would be a good lens for this?

Does Nikon d7000 has the same lens mount as d3100?
I'm planning to buy a d7000 bacause it has an external mic input and it's better for night pgotography… Etc. My question is: Will my nikon d3100 lenses fit and work with Nikon d7000 DSLR? Or do you have to buy special lenses for both cameras?

Camera Viewfinder is out of focus?
My Nikon D3200 viewfinder is out of focus! I've tried adjusting the little dial next to it but it's always out of focus. It's not in warranty any more.
