How to fix brightness error on nikon d5100?
How to fix brightness error on nikon d5100?
Added (1). I have had this camera for a long time, but it was broken accidentally a while ago. I sent it to Nikon to be fixed. I haven't used it much until now. Every picture that I take outdoors with auto is too white. You can't even see the what's in the picture. Unless I go somewhere hidden from the sun light the pictures still come out too white. I know I can fix this by using changing the settings manually, but most times I just like to use auto. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

What camera is like the canon eos t3i?
I have been looking at many types of cameras from the nikon d3100 to the canon rebel t3i etc. But i have realized that they might be too advanced for my liking as i will have my parents and others use it with me for pictures and so forth. What i'm looking for in a camera is that it will have a little more compact body than the t3i but very similar, also a lower price($500 max.) would be very helpful as i'm new to the more advanced cameras and don't want to spend too much as a beginner but i would love to still have 18 megapixels or higher. Any opinions and recommendations would be a great help.

35mm SLR to complement a DSLR?
Please advice me into buying a 35mm SLR to complement a DSLR, using the same lens. Buying one would mean buying into their whole range. I'm thinking of getting full frame for the price of nothing using a 35mm film scanner.
I'm a big fan of Nikons because their buttons layout, ergonomics and price. I sold all my kit wanting to get a full frame DSLR. I had a D90 and a bucket full of lens. But things happened and i'm back to the drawing board again, only with no money for a full frame.
I've researched Minoltas and they don't seem to cut enough mustard, since they changed their mount in the '80s. Nikon again seems to lead with their FE and FM3a.
Any other suggestion?

Nikon D3100 setting help for Flags (football game twirlers) IMEDIATE Help NEEDED?
I need help with the settings. Its supposed to be pretty sunny, then pretty cloudy, and I need help with the best specific settings to get pictures of the flag girls. Since the flags are obviously always moving, what would be the best way to get a great crisp clear shot due to the weather? I don't have a mono pod or tripod either.

First thing I would like to say is If you're going to reply like a "know it all elitist" and insult me, then please don't reply.
Okay this would be MY first DSLR, I have a lot of experience with DSLR's from the photography classes at my school (Mostly Canon T4i and Nikon D3200 & D7000).
I'm thinking of finally buying my own and I would like your input, I have narrowed my camera's of interest to these:
- Canon T4i / T5i
- Canon 60D
- Nikon D7000
I would mostly be using these cameras for Photography and Video projects.
I'm basically trying to find the best "Bang for Buck" (Under $1000) with these brands (Canon & Nikon).
Could you guys tell me which is the best for my needs from those cameras, or maybe recommend another one you think might be more suiting?

Which lens would capture better macro images on the nikon D5100: Sigma 150mm f2.8 EX OS DG Macro Lens - Nikon AF OR Sigma 105mm f/2.8 OS EX DG Macro HSM Lens - Nikon AF?

Will any nikon remote work with a nikon d60?
Will any nikon remote work with a nikon d60?

I have just bought a Nikon D50 and wanted to try out the long exposure with water. How ever I set the settings on:
Manual
ISO 200 (the lowest)
Aperture on F 22 (the highest)
Shutter speed about 5 seconds.
Every time the photos come out bright white on these settings. It really puzzles me and even my A Level photography teacher. The weather is usually bright and sunny (I believe this could be a contributing factor) It is fine with light trials in the dark. Could anyone shed any light on this for me as I can't find anything to help me.
