Is there a 30x aprox.lens for nikon d3100?

I have a s3400 bridge camera with 28x optical zoom, i'm looking to sell it for a nikon d3100
the only thing that i will miss will be the zoom on the s3400 so i wondered whether there was an extremely cheap lens with roughly 25x zoom for a nikon d3100 it does not have to be a very good quality, just cheap and about 25x zoom

Of course not, your 18-55mm and a 55-200mm will do just about anything you could think of.
There are lenses (like Tamron's 18-270mm) that come close, but their performance leaves someyhing to be desired.

What lens do you think you can by a lens for the D3100 with a 25x optical zoom range?
The two longest zooms are the Nikkor AF-S 18-200 and 28-300 mm, both are approximately 11x

Trying to use attributes ascribed to P&S cameras to a fully adjustable camera like the D3100 is no really possible
I have two cameras the under your 25x idea that are both 2x lenses. One is a 12-24 mm and the other is 200-400 mm. Both are completely different lenses used for different purposes.
When picking a lens for a D3100, you have to know what each focal length lens "sees"

Do your research and decide what you need and that which lenses fit your budget until you can save more pennies

You can get a 500mm f/8 lens for as low as $100. Quality might not be so good, and it will have to be in bright sun light.

The point of getting a DSLR camera is so that you can pick the lens fit for the purpose. So while there are lenses such as the AF-S Nikkor 18-300mm, these lenses compromise on performance.
