Good wide-angle lens for Nikon D3100?
I'm looking for a good wide-angle lens for my Nikon D3100 as I enjoy taking photographs of landscapes. However, I'm a student so I don't have much money and won't be able to afford a lens like the Nikkor 10-24mm lens. I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent lenses at a reasonable price.
Added (1). My Nikon D3100 came with the 18-55mm lens… Would this be good enough for landscapes as I'm only a beginner or should I still think about getting another lens?

Which affordable lens for zooming is best for a Nikon D5100?
Please people who own one and knows about this answer, thanks.

Guise, kindly tell me where and how to turn-on my Nikon D3000 screen. Well, yeah… I know that there's a On/Off switch, okay. But, the screen/monitor didn't show anything even if it is already ON.

I've been looking into purchasing a portrait lens and was hoping I could get some input based on knowledge/experience. My portraits consist of infants, maternity, family, and children/toddler. I mostly take pictures of babies and toddlers. I've been reading some reviews on portrait lenses and I keep finding great reviews on the Nikon 50mm f/1.4G and the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8. I'm leaning more towards the Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 but not sure. I own a Nikon D60 and my lenses are 18-55mm 3.5-5.6g (this one came with the camera and is what I'm currently using), and have a Nikon 55-300mm 4.5-5.6g. When I think about purchasing the lens, polarizer, and filter; I think I should start off with the 50mm. I'm thinking about selling my 55-300 mm 4.5-5.6g lens since I never use it to save/purchase the Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 in the future. I really just want to make the right choice for my first portrait lens and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My Nikon D3000 LCD screen's not working, why?
Well, only the LCD screen is not working. The camera work well, it still can capture images. Problem is, I can't view the pictures I've taken and anything. As in, It's all black in the LCD screen. Is there any possible solution for this?

I dropped my camera now it won't save images to my SD card
I own a Nikon D5000 camera that I've had for a few months but recently I came home to find my camera on the floor with the lens completely detached. I think the cat knocked it off the countertop. The lens lost its attachment tabs but I don't care about that I have other lenses. The problem is when I take a picture it only shows me the last image taken before the camera fell. It won't save any new images. I don't see how this could be a bad SD card because how can an SD card break in a fall? I even formatted it and it still won't save images.

I have a Sony HX100, but the photos are not as sharp as it should, they are like watercolor paintings even though the ISO is 100!
which of these cameras are good?
Nikon D5100
Nikon D5200
Canon 650D
(Is 5100 better than 5200 because of less MP in the same sensor size?)

Will the Nikkor 55-200mm VR lens work on a Nikon D70?
I wanted to buy a Nikon D70 and I have the Nikkor 18-55mm VR lens and the Nikkor 55-200mm VR lens. Will these lenses work on the Nikon D70 without any problem? I also wanted to buy the Nikkor 70-300mm VR lens. Will that work with the D70? Please let me know.

No more space on empty SD card?
I have a Nikon D5000 and a 4GB SD card I use in it. I've been using the camera a lot recently for photos/video for my internship.
I'm not sure what happened or what I did but all of a sudden my SD card's capacity was reduced to around 300MB, so I was only able to record a small amount of video at a time until my card was full.
I have a MacBook Pro so I usually upload all the pictures to iPhoto but a couple times recently I just manually transferred photos to my desktop and manually deleted them off the SD card in Finder.
I'm not sure if that's what did this but today I uploaded photos to iPhoto and when I went to finder, it said that the capacity on my card had been reduced to around 80MB.
I'm incredibly confused as to what is happening and why this is happening. If anyone has any advice on how to maybe restore everything back onto my card or how to avoid this mishap in the future, I'd be really grateful! Thank you!
Added (1). Geoffrey: Thank you! That worked!
