My mom has a nikon dslr D3000. I understand there's never anything wrong with the camera but the person who's using it. But, the photo quality on it is extremely fuzzy. I know it can be adjusted or fixed and I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it. I don't remember the camera coming with bad photo quality so I think my dad may have done something(he's clueless when it comes to cameras) and my mom might have also, help?

I have seen pictures like this a lot but I really like this one.
I'm just wondering how to get that effect. I do know that I need to turn the shutter speed down but I'm not quite sure how to get the exact effect. I have a Nikon d5100 and a Lumix ft10. I'm 100% sure I can change the shutter speed on the Nikon and I can also set it to 'bulb' setting.
So how do I achieve that exact effect? Step by Step instructions would be nice.

I'm starting up a beauty channel and I uploaded my first video today.
I filmed on my Nikon D5100 and the visuals are fine, but the audio is quite low and sounds muffled on youtube.
How can I make myself sound clearer on the video?
(I was filming in the quiet so there were no noises around me)
