What camera thats cheaper takes pictures as good as this camera… I don't want to spen 700 on a camera

You are missing the point. It's not the camera you should be investing in; it's the lens. If you get a d3000 with the same lens the pictures will still look the same. You can only tell the difference if you are pixel peeping

Nikon D3100, Canon EOS T2i, both are really good and no camera takes good pictures, all DSLRs are the same it depends on you if they will be bad or not.
