Look on page 2 of your user manual.

Are you saying that the Lens Release Button (17) is not releasing the lens?

May you, sorry, mayb u shud take it to a shop where they no what they r doing. You seem to have a lens with a stuck aperture mechanism.

Push in button
twist lens without being too forceful
watch for the red dot

(this is why some people shouldn't be allowed to have complicated cameras)

Lol forlorn. But yeah, there's a release button for the lens. If it still refuses to turn while pressing the release button then something is wrong. It should untwist very easily if you are doing it right.
Whatever you do don't force it, take it to a shop. But be prepared to be giggled at if you haven't been pushing the release button.

I'm having a really tough time understanding what you are asking.

"… Problems with lens - its stuck and i can't put it off"… Are you saying you can't REMOVE the lens from the body?

"… Its not turning on"… Are you meaning the camera itself will not turn on?

"… The little screen where you put the eye on is darker than usually"… Do you mean when you look through the viewfinder that the view is dark?

All of this sounds like the lens is stuck in the "stopped down" mode, meaning the aperture is stuck in a more closed position. Anytime you look through the viewfinder, the lens is normally at it's largest aperture opening. It only closes down to another aperture when the photo is taken. At a smaller aperture the view through the viewfinder will be much darker, which is one reason why the aperture does not stop down while you are composing the photo.

If the aperture in the lens is indeed stuck in a closed position, it is probably going to prevent the lens from releasing from the body and will certainly produce the dim view in the viewfinder.

Try removing the battery from the camera and leave it out. GENTLY try pushing the lens release button and seeing if the lens will remove. If it will not and the view is still dim in the viewfinder, I'm going to say the lens has stuck aperture blades. The camera will have to be serviced by a competent camera service facility, preferably a Nikon service center.
