NIKKOR AF-S DX 55-300mm VR II lensa work on Nikon D3000?

but i haveno idea if it will work on my Nikon D3000
because I noticed that the 11-55 mm lens that came withmy camera are 52mm Filter/attachment size
and that one is 58

so… I understand that the Filter/attachment size means the stuff you attach to the lens like filters and stuff

would it work on my D3000?

Yes of course it will work. That is why you buy an SLR. It will also auto-focus on your camera
