I love photography and got a Nikon D3000 for Christmas. Then I bought a 35mm DX f/1.8 lens for my camera too. And I've been taking pictures and I wanted some feedback and advice/constructive criticism. I'm also doing a 365 project right now. I'm on day 9.So here are some links, please be honest and tell me what you think! It'd help a lot.

and if you lke them and your bored you can look at my old account where all the pictures were taking with a video camera because I didn't have any other camera to take them with:

thanks.oh and what should I do with my pictures if they are good? I don't know how to get recognized. I've been adding pictures to groups and commenting on others photos but I'm not getting that many views.

Wow. You're pictures are really good. Definitely consider photography major. I know I'm because I LOVE taking pictures, as you. And Nikon D3000! JEALOUSSS! Nikon is THE best kind of camera. Ever. Hope ya like my opinion.

I like all your photos, they are really good. Donavon could do with a little more contrast and My Harmonica with a little more depth of field, so the harmonica is all in focus. But apart form that, they are fine.

Your architecture photography is AMAZING, i love it.
And i really like the picture titled Monster Tree, trees are beatiful, and a good photographer helps that.
Make a website, do something to get your pictures out there.
Submit them to magazines.
Don't ever stop taking pictures.

The best advice i can give is keep going. You've made a solid start.
Your pic's look correctly exposed and the majority composed reasonably.
Practice will improve your eye and picture making possibilities.

You got photography equipment for Christmas and it didn't make you a photographer any more than getting a calculator would have made you a rocket scientist. Sorry for the harsh reality of life.
Your photos are the typical shots taken by the average person who picks up a camera and decides to be a photographer without any knowledge of the skills required. Hence, you aren't getting any recognition for your work. If you want recognition it comes at the price of mastering the required skills. I hope you can comprehend this and further your knowledge, the self rewards for your accomplishment will be great.

They aren't great. However, you do have some technical skill when it comes to exposure, focus, and composition.

It's definitely a good foundation if you want to study more about photography, but you aren't ready to start selling them yet.
