My camera doesn't take like scene photos?
Its on auto, and it doesn't take scene photos (landscape, anything from a distance).
unless whatever i'm taking if within a few feet in front of it, my camera won't shoot!
i just switched the lens, and they're not the problem… Any help?
i have a nikon d5000
Added (1). I do use manual.
but on my lazy days and when my mom uses it, i must use auto… :\
Why do you have a DSLR on Auto? If you leave it on Auto, the camera is making the decisions for you… And in this case is deciding that something from focus to exposure is wrong, causing it to refuse to take the photo.
The solution to your problem is to learn to use your DSLR in
Manual Mode so that YOU make the decisions… After all, that is what a DSLR is for (unless of course you are just another of those people who decided to waste several hundreds of dollars on a DSLR to then use it like a $50 point and shoot camera).
Sorry, but I'm having a hard time believing that you really know how to use your camera in Manual mode. If you did then you should be able to easily recognize which of the parameters are incorrect when you are trying to use it on Auto. I don't buy the lazy excuse either… You're too lazy to turn a dial with your finger to get a good photo? Doubtful…
So what is a "like scene photo?"
If you have lazy days you don't want this camera. It's not designed for "lazy".It's designed for photography and people who are willing to first learn the camera then do serious work with it.

- Do you think touch screen cameras like the Nikon D5600 make cameras like the Nikon D5 look like 70's computers without the mouse?
