Looking into buying a tripod?

I'm looking into buying a tripod for my nikon D3000… Liike to keep it cheap help is appreciated: D

Get a cheap Velbron

This is the cheapest tripod I'd trust my DSLR to http://www.calumetphoto.com/eng/product/calumet_7300_tripod_with_three_way_quick_release_head/ck7316

A cheap tripod is one of the worse mistakes many people make. Tell me something. Why do you want to put a nice, expensive camera on a cheap tripod that is unsteady and unreliable? Why do you want to use a cheap tripod that does not have the stability to do a good job of keeping your camera totally still? That is the purpose of a tripod, right?
Get a cheap tripod and sooner rather than later, you will be spending money again for a better one.
If all you wanted to mount was a little point and shoot camera, then a flimsy, cheap tripod would be ok, but not with a DSLR. Add a heavy, telephoto or zoom lens in the future, and a cheap tripod is a camera crash just waiting to happen.
