Looking into a new camera for YouTube video's and pictures. How is the Nikon D5100?

Autofocus is a nessecity and so is a flip out screen to be able to record myself and determine whether or not i'm in frame… I have a price range of 400-800

Not as good as its Sony equivalent.

I would suggest Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera and DIGIC 4 Imaging, Improved EOS Full HD Movie mode with manual exposure control.
