Lens change for my D60?

I have a 18-55VR for my D60… A KIT you know…
thinking to change the lens to Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm F1.8 G
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT? And if you have an example how a photo made with this lens looks like I would be really thankful!

Here's almost a 1000 pics with this lens:
If you can live with 35mm it's a good choice. Set your 18-55 on 35mm for a day and see how you like the field of view.

Unless you are really short of money, get the 35mm, see how you like it, then sell the 18 to 55 if you want to. The 35mm works a a slightly long normal lens, you might miss the wide-angle of the 18mm.

I have one and it's the best lens I can say I've ever invested in. Great little prime, does me well for gig photography and handheld night time street photography.
Not wishing to self promote, but I shot most of this set with it:
(a couple of them in that set were shot with a 25 year old Nikkor 135mm f/2.8)
All these were shot with the lens hand held in low light with high iso (so this is how you can really push the lens):
- this shows a flaw of the lens, it's prone to flare when there are bright lights in the scene.
- there's still good detail when shot wide open with it, not too soft.
