I want to buy a new accessory for my nikon d5000?
I want to buy a new accessory for my nikon d5000 and don't know which 1 of these should i buy first (i'm on a $60-$80 budget) should i buy a battery grip (if you have a sugestion for the battery grip i will thank you) or should i buy a tripod (i have been seeing the Manfrotto Tripod 7322YB but if you have another sugestion i will aswell thank you and appreciate it).
If you already have a good photography book, read it. From there you would learn which accessory to buy first depending on what you shoot. For starters, a good photography book is the best accessory every photographer must have.
Keerok is dead on for this question. A photography book is the single best accessory a photographer can have.
but of the two, the tripod is way more vital. Battery grips are not needed at all
Tripod, no contest at all. It lets you do new things with your camera, whereas a battery grip does not. Furthermore a tripod can be used with any camera, while battery grips are specific to a particular model - if you upgrade in a few years, then you can't use it with your new camera.
That particular tripod got very mixed reviews on amazon though, even though it's just a small number of reviews and thus not very significant. It'll probably be better to stick to a more popular product in that price range.
Buying a tripod will be a good option Manfrotto 7322YB M-Y Tripod with Ball Head
