I need a dslr camera. Can't afford more than 300 USD. Any suggestions?
I checked out Nikon D3000, way too expensive for me. I prefer to get something from Nikon or Canon, but open to any other suggestions too.
You can get a used one. It would not be the model that you want - but if you're budget is limited to $300, that is what you have to do.
You are about $250 shy of buying any dSLR.
Save your pennies and wait.
You might be able to find a good used older dSLR for around $350 with lens, but I suggest you cool your jets and just wait until you have enough money saved to buy the D3000
Unless it's used you won't find any for that price. I agree with David, save up and wait.
You may find an old D40 in so-so condition for $300. If you want to get anything new, you will have to pay at least $250 more.
The D40 is a great camera, but I suggest not getting any camera used. You don't know what they have been through.
In this prize you can't get Good DSLR. You have to add some more money in your budget and get nikon d3000.
