If you mean completely erase so that no photos are ever available again?
Then you will want to download the free version of killdisk (www.killdisk.com).It meets DoD 5220 (the US Govt's security standard) for erasing data, and will render the photos gone forever.
If you want to just delete the files, then the easiest thing to do is to format the card in your camera.

Wipe? What does that mean? Format? Do it in the camera - your owner's manual explains.

You need to use a utility like CardWipe (or something similar). Formatting won't do it, because the images are easily recovered in minutes using freeware.

Format. Copy a big file many times over until the card gets full. Format again.
