How to use Nikon D3100?

I've had my Nikon D3100 for like a month, i think i know how to use it, but i'm sure i can learn a little bit more about it, i've seen a lot of videos on youtube about how to use it, but is there anywhere else where it can give me tips on how to use it?
Added (1). Taking a photography class is not an option for me right now.

Take a photography class.

Well there are many online tutorial you can get from nikon or lynda.com on photography.

Learn in the field and use settings you aren't used to.
use manual only for everything in changing environment where light sources and speed are tricky.
try to re-create famous shots with the gear you have.
learn how to process shots gently instead of overdoing it.
shoot out of your comfort zone…
no real need for classes but they might come handy

Try to find someone local who uses a DSLR (any brand). Show your handbook to him/her and get an hour or two 'hands on' instruction on your camera. More valuable than distance learning if you are just starting.
