How to take a picture while filming on Nikon D7000?

I technically already know how to do this, you just press the shutter button down all the way.
However, I'm wondering if I can do this WITHOUT having the video stop. I press the shutter down while filming and instead of having it take the picture simultaneously, it stops recording, takes the picture, and then I have to press the record button to start filming again. It does not capture the image while I'm filming and continue to film once the image has been taken.
I was wondering if there's a way to do this or if I'm just out of luck.

You are out of luck. You can take a frame out of the video in a video editing program, but that's limited to a low resolution 1900x1080 pixel (2 megapixel) image along with compression artifacts.

Not possible.
Unless the manual says otherwise.
You have a dSLR. DSLR's were never meant to do video. Video in a dSLR is only a feature. Do not expect much from it.
If you want lots of video control and features, get a hefty camcorder.

Out of luck.
