How many pictures does a 32 GB SD card hold?

I have a DSLR Camera (Nikon D3200 - 24 MEGAPIXELS), so how many pictures can a 32 GB SD card hold? Also, what about a 16 GB or a 12 GB?

That depends on the size of the picture in resolution.

It's depend upon the resolution suppose if the resolution of picture is 3648 X 2736 pixels then the size of picture in jpg format will be about 1.5-2MB then in a 32 gb card about 65000 pictures can be accommodated.basically the size of image depends upon the resolution and pixelratio.

It depends on whether you save as raw or jpg and the level of jpg compression and the image size.

In any case it'll be very many hundreds, if not thousands.
