How to put my Nikon D3100 in Burst Mode/Rapid shoot mode?

Just got my new camera, totally in love with it: D I was just wondering how to put it in the mode that makes it so you can take 3 pictures a second?

On the top of your camera there's a lever next to the mode dial, just slide it down to the one with 4 slides

Well totally read the owner's manual.

You just got a new camera (you lucky thing) and you don't know how to use it yet:-(

Why on earth have you NOT read the manual that so conveniently came with your camera? And I mean READING it, not just glancing at a few pages.
You would end up being able to actually use your new toy in all its glory, wouldn't that be nice?

If you already managed to lose the book, or you broke the CD (or whatever other reason you want to give for NOT reading the book), go to the manufacturer's website and download an electronic version. Sometimes the PDFs are actually better than the books.

Now go get that book… Read it, practice, read it again, practice some more.
Don't lose it - it is worth re-reading every few weeks.
