Which lense is Good for modeling for a Nikon D70?

Hi i'm new to Photography, and I'm looking for good lense for Day time Photography for models(People) like in the beach or in a house.

As I see it there's a couple of choices. The 50mm f/1.8 would probably be alright indoors and if it were me I'd the a 28-200 for the exteriors. The reason is this lens will also serve well as an every day lens.

But indoors, don't forget the lighting. If you're doing any kind of model shots you're going to need light - regardless of the lens you use.
