How can i get my nikon d3100 clips which are in MOV onto vegas pro really easy?

There's no easy unless Vegas Pro sees mov files which I don't think it does.

So that means converting them to probably wmv 9 and that means a conversion program. Don't trust the free download programs, they junk - I know, I've tried them. The only solution to converting and maintaining the quality at the same time is a program like I'm using. Mine happens to be
creator by Roxio. This program will not only convert and maintain quality but it will replace Sony
Vegas Pro. I've also tried Vegas Pro and I don't like it either.

Creator retails for about $120 but I think there's some deals available on line from Roxio so if you're at all interested check their site first.

mov (by apple - ugh) is a good video format but Windows generally can't work with it.
