DSLR camera with video?

I'm looking at the Nikon D3000, D5000, and D3100 (I know the 3100 has video.
And the Canon Rebel T1i and T2i
What would you recommend out of these? Or any others?

I'd recommend the D3100 and the T2i. Both are excellent cameras. The T2i is about $100 bucks more than the D3100 but it's well worth with the image quality. I'd recommend going to a shop, handling them both and decide from there.
Remember, once you buy a camera from either Nikon or Canon, you almost have to stick to the system because once you buy extra lenses, it'll be expensive switching because the lenses aren't compatible with other systems.

I'd say go for the D3100. Its a better version of the D3000 and its newer than the D5000, since that's been discontinued. Its also cheaper with a twin lens kit than the T2i body alone. D3100 is a beginner class camera, unlike a T2i which is more advance but I'm sure its still easy two use. So I guess it comes down to how much you're willing to pay for the gear.

After spending months in internet gathering/comparing/reading reviews, i brought the D3100 (one week back). And i'm luving it.
I think its a pretty good DSLR for a beginner since its quite easy to use.

If the video feature is very important to you, the Sony A33 might be a much better choice with it's continuous autofocus during video.

T1i - leave it out, too much noise when compared to others
D3000 - is okay, but XS from Canon is better
D3100 - best out of all, for price/performance
D5000 - Used to be good, now that the D3100 here, not that much anymore.
T2i - Is a bigger version of D3100, 99% same stuff.
