Does this lens work with the Nikon D3000?

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 SLD DG Macro Lens with built in motor for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras

Does this camera lens work my Nikon D3000? How would you know if it would work with my DSLR? If it doesn't work, what are similar lenses that work with my camera?

Added (1). How to tell which lens goes with the Nikon D3000?

It says that it is for Nikon, and that it has a built in motor. These are the two relevant bits of information that you need to know if it works with the D3000.

It's not a good lens though, save some more for the APO version (better image quality) or the Nikkor 55-200 VR or 55-300 VR. You'll find an image stabilizer to be very useful with a telephoto lens like this… But this one doesn't have one.

Yes it does it says in the description "Nikon Mount: Built in motor lens: compatible with D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D5000"
