Do you like the Nikon D70 dSLR?

Only as a friend.

Personally, I recommend Canon. BUT I do like that camera, its very useful. I was working with a Nikon D40x and had to borrow the D70 when I sold my dslr and I took some great photos with it. In Nikon world, I'd recommend the Nikon D3100 or the Nikon D70 from experience.

It's a nice camera.

For certain photographers the D70 offers a feature set that no other camera can offer. It's a very useful cheap location shoot camera because of the following functions:
1) Unlimited flash sync with manual flashes, 1/500 sync with TTL flash.
2) Built in wireless CLS commander to fire Nikon iTTL flashguns remotely.
3) Nikon AF motor, which means you have access to cheaper primes, such as the AF Nikkor 85mm which is about half the price of the AF-S version, as well as the DC-Nikkor lenses which produce remarkable bokeh.
For those photographers who want to shoot outdoor portraits, but travel light, the D70s is an attractive option.

Yes it is a fine camera. While it lacks a few things (Iso 100 etc) the camera offers a 500 sync (UH-mazing!) and a cf card slot. My boss at my weekend job makes us use D70s because they are that good…
- Do you think touch screen cameras like the Nikon D5600 make cameras like the Nikon D5 look like 70's computers without the mouse?
- How would you like to have a digital camera like this in the future?
- On my Nikon D3400 when you try to take a video, a little mic with a line goes through it and when you get the finished product of you?
- To camera experts out there, which brand of DSLR cameras do you like?
- I'm looking for a DSLR camera. I would like it to be under $500. Do you know of any?
