Nikon SLR Cameras

How would you like to have a digital camera like this in the future?

1, 000 I wish one day in the very near future 'Nikon' will create a brand new digital cameras without applying any flash. The flash is inside the cameras. When the cameras focus on subject(s) whilst light is insufficient, the cameras themselves can do their jobs…
I'm a dreamer!

No comment, considering all the fine cameras on the market today. I shoot indoors by "available light" all the time. That covers your wish!

Absolutely not.

First, that's not how the image sensor works. Applying a light to the image sensor won't affect the image at all. There still will be very little light from the subject entering the lens, so the image will still be dark.

Second, I use an external flash myself and it does much more than make my subject brighter. In the right hands, flash(es) can make the entire mood of the camera. Photography is, after all, the capture of light, and lighting is one of the most critical parts of a photograph. A flash isn't just for illuminating the subject; it can change how a picture "feels".

Not at all.

I do hope that someday nikon will switch to a radio control method for remote flash control instead of the modified pre flash. At that time I would also like to see a flash with the performance of the 700 but the price of the 400

Seriously! What a cool idea. But also check this out! Http://vivitardigitalcameravivicam.com/

If you watch the slideshow on the top there's a camera that is binoculars. I'm not a major camera fanatic so I don't know how common these are, but I ran across this site and thought that it was a great technological advancement as well. I wonder how far away it takes clear pictures?
