To camera experts out there, which brand of DSLR cameras do you like?

I want to compare Canon and Nikon and I can only get this answer from experts.
What DSLR cameras do you have and which one do you like?

Nikon 400D simple but durable enough, not to mention cheaper.

You should also include Pentax and Sony… They also make excellent cameras.
I shoot Nikon, but regularly use an 8 year old Canon 1D II. I borrowed a Pentax K-5 for about a week and loved the solid build-quality & it's quiet mirror.
Go to a local camera shop and try out the Nikon D3200, Rebel T3, T3i and T4i and Pentax K-X. Buy whichever feels more comfortable to use.
Regardless of what camera you buy, you'll need a genuine spare battery, 2 or 3 8GB Class 10 SD cards, a card reader and a case.

Nikon!

I use Nikon cameras and lenses.
This was basically an accident since I used to use Canon cameras until in 1988, Canon made all my gear obsolete with the introduction of the EOS camera system.
My ex-wife felt sorry for me and loaned ma a Nikon F2 with three lenses. From there on I built my Nikon system and now, over twenty years later, I'm happy to still be using Nikon's. What has been the best part is that since I shoot sports at night and indoors, the superior sensor performance in low light makes my job just that much easier
If you take a look at the sensor performance between Nikon and Canon, you will see that for those of us who shoot editorial and sports are happy we use Nikon systems

I have two Canon Rebel models and love the both. Canon's attention to detail and quality is unsurpassed in my opinion. I wouldn't buy anything else.

I use Pentax dSLR's but won't turn down a Hasselblad or Mamiya if ever one gets thrown at me.
