Do refurbished cameras come with batteries and other accessories?

I was just wondering for future reference when I actually purchase this camera. Accessories like camera strap, battery, battery charger, lens cap etc. I was planning on buying the Nikon's refurbished D5100.

It's supposed to come with everything just like a new one.

Depends on who you buy it from. It's supposed to come with everything it did when it was new.
Just make sure it was refurbished by the manufacturer.

However, I would only buy a refurbished camera from either Nikon, or a known dealer that sells "Nikon refurbished" gear, such as Adorama or B&H.

Factory refurbished, yes. Others, it depends. If none, that's something to avoid.
