D90 Intervalometer TC-80?

Will this remote timer work as an intervalometer to take time-lapse photos with a Nikon D90?

It seems to be only compatible with higher end Nikon models which are full frame.

That one won't, confusingly Nikon have used different connectors for their remote shutter release socket, all you need is the intervalometer with the 2.5mm stereo plug, same as Pentax use (on all their models) and Canon use (on their entry level models) such as this one

There are intervalometers with interchangeable leads, just get the lead your camera needs.
