Nikon intervalometer

Hey I'm in the market for an intervalometer for my D300. The only one i see is the Nikon MC-36 which is $130. Are there any other options out there for someone who wants a remote trigger that can be used as an intervalometer?

Why don't you just use the intervalometer that is on the camera?
I use the MC-30 remote release to rigger the first exposure

I would really like to know the answer to that as well.
In the meantime you can use the interval timer that is built into the D300.

If you want external instead of what is built into the camera, you can get them all day long on Ebay for $25-$40 from Hong Kong.
Just search "D300 interval timer" and you will see several hundreds of them.
