Canon XS, Nikon D3000, NIkon D60?

I bought a Canon XS but I don't know if I should keep my Canon XS and get a nikon. Should I keep my canon xs or should I trade for maybe a Nikon D3000, or Nikon D60?

The D60 is age old now

why would you want to switch cameras? All it will do is cost money

I own an XS and it's an excellent camera but if you don't know what you're doing with it then perhaps you're not getting the results you'd hoped for.

A short course in operating these cameras along with lots of practice and reading should help.
However if you're not will to do this you could spend $5, 000 on a camera still not get the results you'd hoped for… Point made?

Canon xs is good but there's no that good upgrade model if you want to upgrade in future.
maybe best opition would be buy a nikon d80/d200 refurbished or used these have really most of the pro feature of any dlsr

nikon kit lenses are more sharp than canon. So if you want to choose a brand think about future investment you are going to do in lenses after that no turning point
