Give me photography tips?

I love taking pictures, of anything. I'm always trying to find the right lighting and the right angles and finally my parents agreed to getting me the Nikon D3100. I don't know a lot about digital SRL cameras but I've heard that camera's good for beginners.

Anyway, I was just wondering what advice anyone could give about photography? I really don't know a lot and I want to learn but have no money for classes.

Do what you were doing before. Just do it with your future Nikon camera.

If you don't know much about photography, I wouldn't recommend a DSLR to start out with, especially Nikon. Why do I say not Nikon? Because Nikon users are very arrogant and self-centered and they think they are better than everyone else that uses a different brand.

Good photography tips are lighting, movement, and perspective. You want good lighting to enhance the photo. Have sun beams brighten the top corner of your pic while you have a silhouette of a guy as your centre of focus. Lighting will help mood your photo. Movement is great in a photo. If you want to take a quick shot of a car for example, compensate for it. Because nothing is instant. Press the shutter when your lens is pointing infront of the car. Focus on the front and then you have a true to life image of a car that seems like it's there really in front of you. Perspective is also crucial in a great shot. Taking a photograph of a person from a bottom angle makes a good photo because it shows the mood of the scenery. It'll show that where ever it's been shot is the top of the world. But an angle directly infront of the person won't show mood or emotion. But my top tip, is keep doing what you were doing before, and you'll learn on your way.

Read everything you can and take a lot of pictures. Delete the ones that are out of focus or exposed poorly. Learn from your mistakes. Learn the "rules" of photography before you explore breaking them. Try to produce photos with maximum detail and undetectable post processing. A Nikon is a good choice. You can hold your head high knowing that you are amongst the elite with a Nikon. Just joking!
