Can a wide angle lens converter work with a 35 mm lens on a nikon d90?
This is dumb… But i just bought a wide angle lens converter for a 52 mm thread lens. I have a 35 mm lens to fit it, but I'm guessing it has to be a zoom lens?
Why is it you think it has to be placed on a zoom lens?
You have the conversion filter, just put it on and see what you get.
Or you could just do the math.
0.25 x 35 = 8.75 mm
0.45 x 35 = 15.75 mm
The two most recent 35mm lenses both take 52mm filters so that will fit. Quality will be bad to horrible but go ahead, mount it, see what happens.
It works on a 35 mm as the math shows, but does not give the bend I wanted… Which I guess I should have been more clear about. Nevertheless, I have a nice macro lense now.
