Camera opinions: Olympus vs Nikon?
I'm desperately in need of a new camera. Right now, this is what I'm looking for:
-under $600 (max $650)
-interchangable lenses
-digital SLR
-great picture quality (obviously, but most bang for the buck)
-I know that to an extent all cameras do this and there are ways to adjust it, but I really like being able to focus on a single object, and everything else is blurry
-fairly easy to use
-live view on screen
I have friends and family pushing for the Nikon D3000, but I've been looking at the Olympus E-510. Opinions from people who own either of these, or just know a lot about camera's in general?
Here's what I've found on the Olympus:

Nikon
It is very important to choose wisely when buying electronics stuff as is always better to go with the best quality one not the cheap one. As sometime you will spend more money fixing the cheaper one.
But in this case here I will go with Nikon as you can get new for your budget while olympus is cheaper but a refurnished one. Please do go and read the reviews on the link below and you will decide as suit you and your budget.
