Camera lenses to buy or not to buy?

Guest
I have recently purchased a Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm lens and am now looking to purchase the Nikon 55-200mm lens for wildlife photos. Is this a good purchase?

Yes, it's a decent telephoto lens - if you're taking about the version with VR. Don't bother with the one without VR, you'll need it for shooting handheld in anything but bright sunlight.
There's also a 55-300mm VR which would be even better.

It's a good lens but not for wildlife. For wildlife in the wild 300mm is absolute minimum.

Tokina lens 11-16 mm review is good.
