I'm 15 years old and taking photography in college later this year. I need an ugrade from my basic digital camera (fujifilm z90) and are stuck with choosing which one. I have been drawn toward the nikon d3200/ d5200/ canon 600d/ canon 650d. All of these cameras are entry level dslr's but that is all i need really. My budget is around 500 english pounds and would need a lens with it as well.

If they are "Body Only" than you would be needing to get a Lens. So on the other hand if it's a "Kit" than a lens is actually supplied.

Only you can answer this because you would be getting so many different answers.

This type of question gets asked about which Camera Manufacture, Camera Model is better, recommended, or "Which One I Should Get" far too often.

It comes down to personal preference where some may like how Nikon feels in their hands or how the layout of the Nikon Cameras are. Vice Verse on Canon Cameras.

Nikon fans would be saying to get Nikon. Same thing with Canon Fans where they would be saying to get Canon.

So otherwise it all comes down to personal preference.

You have picked some good entry level cameras.

What you need to do now is do some more independent research.

* visit the Nikon and Canon websites and spend a lot of time looking at the features of each model camera and the lenses and accessories available for each.
* spend some time looking at the performance of the sensors of each model as well. In addition, look at the more advanced cameras to see what your future cameras my be. Http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/Cameras/Camera-Sensor-Ratings

You can find good, professional reviews for those cameras on DP Review.

After YOU have done your research, go to a proper camera shop and hold two of your top choices in your hands.

After you have done this, YOU will know which camera is best for you, NOT for those with opinions

Canon and Nikon are world leaders in camera design, so you won't go far wrong with any of the 4 you list.
Personally, I'm a long time Canon user so would recommend the 600D/650D 's
