Nikon SLR Cameras

Best video editing site?

I have a new camera, Nikon D3100 and I really want to use it to it's potential and at the minute I'm using Windows Movie Maker, and it's really basic, and I really need to upgrade as I've upgraded my camera. I can't afford a iMac or MacBook just yet, so any good sites I could download that are just as simple as Movie Maker?
I've tried Vegas Pro, AVS, and a couple of others but AVS has crashed and Vegas Pro is far too complicated for my liking. I want something simple, but with amazing features!
I do dog training stuff and horse stuff at the minute, so best people to get examples off are these people - http://www.youtube.com/...CAQQwRs%3D Only video's that are edited with music though.

I'll be filming tomorrow so tonight would be great haha! My YT is ItsMeOfficially. http://www.youtube.com/...ture=guide More links on there xD thank you!

Like your fine D3100, you will have to take the time to learn how to use ANY video editing program.

Some community colleges have classes in video and there you would certainly not only learn how to edit video, but how to write a script, make a storyboard and assemble a shooting script. Usually a program like Adobe Premiere is used and sold in the student store for about 1/5th what it costs to buy the retail product.

Since you are shooting basically documentary video, making a storyboard will be helpful to make before shooting your raw footage.

Windows Live Movie Maker should be good enough to assemble your video, following your working script. The more features a program has, the more complicated it will be. That is just the way it is

As far as buying a Mac, it is NOT necessary. It will NOT produce better video than a PC. Just as buying a Nikon D4 will not make you a better photographer.

You need to pick a video editing program and learn to use it, complicated or not.

Actually if you were smart you'd just buy an editor… Not that expensive. I use a program by NCH software called Video Pad - it works very well for HD video and it's only $100 retail.

I have a Nikon D3100 too, and I viewed the example videos, so I think I can help you, for your requirements, you'd better use Youtube Movie Maker to help you, it supports any format videos well, include Nikon D3100 recorded videos, and it can be used to make/edit and upload youtube videos from various videos, pictures, audios, musics, texts, lyrics, subtitles, etc. And it provides many video/audio editing features, such as cut, crop, trim, split, merge, rotate, speed up/down, add/mix musics/audios, join video clips together, mix multiple videos on one screen, add cool font texts, add special effects, add transition effects, add motion effect, add video shapes, etc. You can download youtube movie maker from makeyoutubevideo.com, and view youtube channel youtube.com/easymakevideo for online guides, if my answer helps you, hope give me best answer.
