Best computer for creative people?

Ok so I'm 13 and I recently bought a Nikon D3000. I do a lot of photo editing on websites like www.picnik.com
but I'm looking to invest in a laptop, so which laptop is better for me? A macbook or an inspiron duo?
I only ask about the inspiron because since it has the tablet I thought you could draw on it, but can you also have good photo editing on that computer?

As long as the computer has at least 4 GB of RAM and a large hard drive (500 GB) any computer brand will work. What is creative is YOU. The programs you use for being creative have nothing to do with the brand computer you use.

At this time, PC's provide the most bang for the buck, so that means if you spend $600 for a rather fast notebook and not $2, 000 for an Apple, you will have more money in the end for buying a second lens, etc.

In addition, since you are a student, you can buy Photoshop for under $300 and Lightroom for under $90. As a shooter you will need Lightroom. If you are more interested in being a post production type person including retouching, Photoshop will be what you will want.

All the retouching you will be doing an be done on ANY computer, Apple, PC, notebook or desktop. Speed of the CPU, the amount of RAM and the storage space on the hard drive are what are important as far as hardware is concerned
