Are there any freeware RAW editors for Nikon cameras?

I have an old Nikon D70. Are there any freeware image editing programs that can open and edit Nikon RAW files?

1) use the DNG converter from Adobe and convert all you RAW files to DNG files. Free.

2) use the free photo program you are using now to process all your new DNG files and save them as JPEG, TIFF or PSD files.

Note: This works with ANY RAW files

You could try using the freebie that comes with the camera…
