Anyone have experience with this wide angle for nikon dslr?

Hello… Yes, I know this is not a real full lens, but I've read some encouraging reviews. I can't afford the 10-22 mm ultra wide angle lens I want now, but I really need a wider angle on my landscape shots (currently shooting at 18 mm with my 18-55mm lens, nikon d3100 camera). Anyone have advice on the lens below? Is it worth it? Thanks.

Added (1). Jeroen Wijnands, I didn't ask a question so I could have some nerdy presumptuous person answer me in a condescending way. I don't want a "trendy fisheye effect" and I'm not 18-26. I'm just on a budget and trying to figure out how to get wider angles on my landscapes. Get a grip, man.

Not worth the money. You will get distorted images and have focusing problems. If you want to go wider with your current lens, take two or more shots on a tripod, overlap them by a third, and stich them together using photo editing software.

Jeroen, I should take offencen (not all of the 16-25 group is like that)! But you're right that too many are.

Oh and yes it's really a waste of money. Work harder with your 18-55mm lens.

Couple of thoughts.
1) Although to get autofocus you need a lens with an inbuilt motor, there are lots of lenses out there that will work well with your camera in manual mode. Any of the older AF lenses will meter happily, plus, if you are prepared to go back to basics and not use the TTL metering you can fit just about any lens Nikon ever made, including the early nonAI ones. This means you should be able to pick up a secondhand lens pretty cheap that might do the trick.
2) £70 is a fair old price for what is in effect a glorified filter. Are you really going to get that amount of use out of it? If you are only looking for an extra 2mm then is it really worthwhile?
