Anyone have a nikon d3100?

My brothers birthday is soon he is turning26 and just got a new car. He wants to take a photography class and hes trying to save for a new camera.Me and my sister have $700 and want to get him THIS camera. Can you take videos? How much is it? Where can we buy one?

Wonderful choice. Get him the camera and an extra battery. You can get it Samys camera online. You may have enough left over for a bag. Don't get aUV filter, it's a waste of money. A lens cap is meant to protect the lens when you are not shooting.
