Affordable lens for my nikon?

I have a d5000 and want crisper pictures.anything under 200?

200 what? Dollars? Pounds? Rupees?

Assuming dollars or pounds then go for a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens.

Any zoom lens to beat your 18-55 will cost a whole lot more than 200 anythings!
