Are you sure it's a scratch? It could be a hair, or even dirt. Buy a $10 Giottos Rocket Blower from B&H and see if that doesn't clear it up.

If it does turn out to be a scratch on the AA filter, it could cost several hundred dollars.

Unless YOU stuck something in to your camera and scratched it, the problem is probably more repairable at a far lower cost

Most dust goes through a few steps before actually gets to the sensor.

First dust or hair has to enter the chamber behind the lens. This happens when you have the lens off the camera in dusty conditions… Something to avoid in the future.

If you do not blow out that chamber to remove the dust and other stuff, eventually what dust is in the chamber gets stirred up by either the use of a zoom lens (forcing air into the chamber) or when the mirror flops up and down during normal exposure operations.

Eventually dust will get behind the shutter and land on your sensors filter (sometimes called a "hot mirror")

A good puff from an ear syringe is usually plenty to dislodge the dust or whatever. Make sure that your camera is facing down so that gravity can help rid your camera of any dust.
