How to get the video to play from your cam to pc?

I have a Nikon cool pics digital camera. It has a video feature. But I can't play the video on my pc.

Download VLC payer, it's free and can read all video types.

Transfer the video files to you computer. How to do it is in your camera user manual.

If you're using Microsoft's media player, that's your problem. M$ media player has poor support for H.264 video formats.
Download either free media player:
Media Player Classic Home Cinema -- or -- VLC
I like MPC-HC since it launches faster and has better scrubbing capabilities than VLC.

You need to install the appropriate codecs of the video file to your computer. Try installing the codec pack from here.

Another option is to install VLC media player. It can play most media formats with its own built-in codecs.
