Can you Use a DSLR a during takeoff and landing?
I'm flying Qantas, going to Sydney on a domestic flight. I want to film takeoff and landing (to make a cool little time lapse) with my basic Nikon D3300, it doesn't have Wi-Fi or anything. Would I be allowed to film?
I think it would be fine. However it would be courteous to ask a flight attendant if it was ok with them.
Not usually as in any accident it would become a projectile in the cabin.
People make videos in flight all the time. Don't film other passengers or the flight crew, but go ahead and point it out the window all you want. Film the little screen in the seat back in front of you (the one with the map that shows where you are).
Go to Youtube and look up "full flight." You'll find thousands of videos.
